Lily Allen looked pretty in a hot pink wig (or is it real?) arriving at the Glamour Women of the Year party in London this week. But after the "Smile" singer won the Editor's Special Award at the posh awards show, things went downhill fast.
Whatever happened caused her to blog this apology and an embarrassing photo of herself on her own MySpace page:
"Last time i wrote here , I was defending my honor and dignity , explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing. This time i'm putting my hands up , i got very drunk last night , too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk , i feel awful and I have to thank my little brother alf for getting me home safely. Kids , drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this , not pretty! Was quite fun though , from what i can remember. need fry up now. "
But this seems to be a pattern (getting drunk and then blogging an apology) for the young singer who was pregnant but miscarried (which, considering her drinking, may have been a blessing) earlier this year.
Check out her MySpace blog when she announced why she had decided to cancel her May and June tour dates and instead went to Cannes, forgot underwear, boozed it up big time and hung out topless.

It is not a wig, she died her hair Pink, She explained in detail how she did it the night before in a sink.
Did you ever take a minute to think that Allen's miscarriage and subsequent break up might be the CAUSE of her boozing before you made your insensitive comment, Liz?
1) Not a wig - it's a temporary dye.
2) Saying her miscarriage is a blessing = not cool.
3) She's young, stuff like this happens.
Now it's your turn to apologize: saying her miscarriage was "a blessing" is one of the most repellent and insensitive comments I've read by a columnist in a long time: You owe Lily Alllen and the readers at this site a big apology for this remark!
I love it, she was so hammered she was slurring. Look out, Britney and Amy Winehouse, there's another trailer trash train wreck who's gonna give you competition!

I am shocked and offended by your comment regarding Lily's miscarriage. I suggest that you remove not only the comment, but the entire post, and hope that Ms. Allen herself doesn't catch wind of your comment. How hurtful.
Wise up! Young people, especially in the UK, go out and get drunk. The lassie is just enjoying herself. And what a statement to make about her miscarriage! Trying to get a reaction from her MySpace blog?
Theres not a lot of news, in America about Lily Allen, unless, you look her up on Google. I saw the picture above, and had no idea who she was. Then I read the article that she had to be carried out of the awards show, I felt sorry for her, I read more about her, and listened to her music. Even after the negative press reports, everything she does seems pretty normal, It's like two different people, you can't stop the public from believing everything they read, she's right about a lot of things, Madonna, over rated, Girls Aloud (crap) Why does she always get heat, for saying what most people with taste in music think? She's a cool girl. By the way, it's in really poor taste to even let the pubic know about her personal loss.
Firstt thing, she doesn't have a "drinking problem". When people are followed around everywhere, theyre bound to look like trash. But truth is, most people drink the same amount.
SECOND, her hair looks fine. And it's not a wig, you can see her roots, it's dyed.
Third, a blessing for her to miscarriage? That's never an acceptable thing to say. Think about what you say before you go ranting about it all over the internet, crazy *****.

I'm sure that's what the columnist meant..... and I like Lily Allen, but no offense, these days she's in the news for other things than her singing.. and looks like she's enjoying it! If this continues, she'll probably screw her career, who know, become like Amy Winehouse, whom she regards with great respect...
And that would be sad, since she'll be remembered for more than just her voice !!
