Lynne Spears to write about Britney Spears' recent problems

Somehow I don't think Lynne Spears is going to win any Mother of the Year awards  for writing about the "dark period of Britney's life - from a mother's eyes."

Which is what a rep from her publishing company is saying she is doing in her new memoir.

The book, which will be titled "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World."

Apparently, Lynne has been writing the book for a year but had to take time off to deal with older daughter Britney Spears' meltdown and her youngest teenage daughter, Jamie Lynn Spears, getting pregnant out of wedlock.

She was like, " 'I can't write a book right now. I've got to take care of my family,' " the rep told Us Weekly, adding that the memoir will be "useful for moms who will read it and say, 'I can see myself in those same shoes.' "

Perhaps it will be even more useful for moms who'll think, 'What a crock! What a terrible mom to make her kids grow up in the limelight, ruin their childhoods, give them no boundaries (Heh-Lo? dating a pap?) or sense of self-esteem, never teach them who to trust (not a backup dancer!), how to look out for themselves and still be making money off these kids by telling the world about their troubled personal lives.'
