Conservative and liberal political pundits are already buzzing about Oliver Stone's controversial new film, "W," a biopic about the life and political career of President George W. Bush.

Four Bush biographers gave mixed reactions after reading an early copy of the script sent to them for review by "The Hollywood Reporter." But THR also gives their readers a chance to decide for themselves.

For the record: A previous version of this post contained a direct link to the Hollywood Reporter pdf of the screenplay. However, the link has been removed upon request by a lawyer representing the copyright owner of the "Bush" and "W" screenplay.

That has to be a joke. Those opening scenes read like a bad SNL sketch.

This will be worse than I expected. And my expectations were already very low.

Pres. Bush is a joke a horrible joke that has been foisted on us and it is hard to imagine that Stone could do anything that would be like a bad SNL sketch becuse W's behaviour is sadly like a good quality SNL sketch
