Is Ashlee Simpson really pregnant, as People and Us Weekly keep reporting?

Even Ashlee's refusal to deny her pregnancy is practically being taken as confirmation that she is pregnant.

It's just really hard  to tell by looking because Ashlee - like many expectant celebs - has taken to wearing loose tent dresses, leggings and lugging suspiciously oversized bags - that hide the incriminating baby-on-board evidence.

Everyone's done the Bump and Hide, from Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie, Jennifer Lopez, Minnie Driver to Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts and Lisa Marie Presley.
