According to Access Hollywood, that is an engagement ring Mimi has been sporting lately.
She and Nick Cannon are engaged!
Mariah's first stroll down the aisle was with Tommy Mottola. Nick's been around the engagement block previously with a Victoria's Secret model.
Hey, wait. Mariah's 38 and Nick's only 27!
That qualifies the diva an official Cougar status!
Congrats to Nick and his soon-to-be old lady!
Photo: Looks like Nick had his eyes on Mariah for quite some time. Here they are at the Billboard Music Awards back in 2005. Aw, she waited for him to grow up a bit! Sweeet!

What could make Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), our favorite bad-girl-gone-good, look so blue? Apparently, her life and reputation are on the line!
Yes, you're looking at brand new "Gossip Girl" wedding scene stills, shot on location today in New York (where, apparently, some other "Gossip Girl" bloggers reside).
Our Serena (the lovely Lively, a longtime resident of Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world) is rocking her multi-tiered pale yellow floral chiffon halter gown designed by Ralph Lauren. (A perfect dress for a picnic in the California poppy fields. Hmmm?)
But why so East Coast glum, Serena? What is G up to now? Of course, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) is there, preparing to do battle with G (Michelle Trachtenberg) while wearing a pink Collette Dinnigan frock.
Bad boy Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) turn up in their formal wear. And you just know that the society wedding of the year will provide Serena the chance to finally pour out her heart and the truth about her past to Dan.
As previously reported, Lydia Hearst guest stars in the episode as Amelia, a stylin' interior decorator in a pair of amaaaaazing gladiator heels by Sigerson Morrison.
We do wonder if the gossip girls at New York mag have any more daily intel into this wedding scene. After all, it is conveniently located right in their backyard.

Blair, Chuck and Dan after the jump...
More »Lindsay Lohan has another new film lined up. It's called "Ye Olde Times," starring Jack Black, Matthew Lillard, David Arquette, Ann-Margret and Orlando Jones.
It's described on IMDb.com as being a mix of "Shakespeare in Love" and "Meatballs," the silly tale of rival theater troops vying to be the top act at a Renaissance Faire. The movie's in pre-pro right now but is set to shoot in Shreveport, La.
But wait! Talk about burying the lede: LiLo sharing the screen with her look-alike idol, Ann-Margret?
Will they play mother and daughter? Or sisters? Either way, this could actually be hot. And funny. Or both.
Lindsay also tells People that she's back in the studio recording with Motown, working on her new dance, hip-hop and R&B album.
Other sources say that Lindsay is getting a lot of help from folks like Timbaland and Pharrell. Word is that even Snoop Dogg is among her collaborators. Hey, maybe those guys can help Britney Spears out when they're done rescuing LiLo's recording career.
Photos: Top, Lindsay, right, bears a striking resemblance to a young Ann-Margret. Lower, the actresses met at the Young Hollywood Awards back in 2005. Great casting, guys!

Ryan Gosling is pretty plucking mad.
The Canadian-born actor has fired off a letter to KFC Canada operator John Bitove, CEO of Priszm Income Fund, urging him to stop KFC suppliers' worst abuses of chickens on factory farms and in slaughterhouses.
"The time is ripe to do the right thing," writes Gosling ("Lars and the Real Girl," "Murder by Numbers," "Half Nelson"). "By adopting the basic recommendations made by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and scientific experts (including raising birds in a more natural manner and employing less cruel slaughter methods), you could dramatically improve the lives and deaths of chickens raised and killed for KFC Canada."
The actor was horrified to find out from PETA about the inhumane slaughter of chickens. For more information, click HERE.
To see what the Colonel's secret recipe includes, watch this video - narrated by Gosling's fellow PETA activist Pamela Anderson.
Warning: What you are about to see is graphic and disturbing (and I'm not talking about Pamela Anderson) .

Lynne Spears is very excited about the news that her daughter, Jamie Lynn. is having a baby girl. And that the baby might be named Lynne (or will it be Lynn?).
According to Life&Style, a witness said, "I heard Lynne talking about Jamie Lynn's baby. She said Jamie Lynn and the baby's dad (Casey Aldridge) were so excited when they found out it's a girl."
Jamie Lynn has reportedly been buying tons of clothes and is going to "do the nursery in white, black and yellow," says a Spears family insider who also says the baby is due June 29.
And the name?
"Lynne said Jamie Lynn made a list of all the girl family names on both sides of the family and is trying to incorporate one of them as the middle name," says the witness, who also overheard that "Lynne's flattered to hear her name is being considered."
OK, let's stop this crazy business of naming your kids after their parents and grandparents but then dropping a vowel to confuse things.
Be original. Think of a new name. C'mon, you can do this.
It's gotta be confusing at family reunions.

Paula Abdul critiqued two of Jason Castro's songs/performances, giving both poor reviews, on last night's "American Idol."
But Jason had only performed one song, which Randy Jackson pointed out. Paula appeared visibly confused. Ryan Seacrest joked, "You're seeing the future, baby." And a plainly horrified Simon Cowell tried to correct her, sounding like a son covering for his doddering old aunt's mistake. To which Paula whined, "This is haaaard."
Click here to see Paula's explanation about a last-minute change in judging to Entertainment Tonight. "We all just screwed up everything. This is live television. This is fun."
It's one thing to get confused, but did she really not even know who she was reviewing or how many songs she'd just listened to?
Contestants are run ragged on that show. They deserve better. Give them a judge with a clue.
Who will swan into the Mode magazine offices to talk fashion design on "Ugly Betty" this week?
None other than the reigning reality TV fashionistas from "Project Runway." Not only will judge Nina Garcia appear in a cameo in this week's episode, but so will this season's winner Christian 'Hot Tranny Mess' Siriano. Uh-oh, this could get really ugly. Don't you dare pick on our Betty, Christian.
Next week, Eddie Ciprian will join the cast as a phys ed coach who may become a love interest for Hilda (Ana Ortiz). Finally, a hot new hunk!
At the recent GLAAD Awards, Christopher Gorham, who stars as Henry Grubstick on the hit series, told The Dish Rag that there will be resolution about his baby with his ex-girlfriend Charlie (Jayma Mays) in the final episode.
"It is my baby. It's my baby. It's a hot mess, what can I say," Gorham admitted. "And in the season finale, Henry has a huge decision to make that Betty is very much involved in. "
I can't stand the suspense! Will Henry and Betty break up or get together?

The biggest star of the new "Iron Man" film is not Robert Downey Jr. or Gwyneth Paltrow.
It's the Audi R8, Audi's sexy new supercar.
In honor of the film's Hollywood premiere, a motorcade of 10 police-escorted R8s will blitz L.A. today, leaving the dealership downtown and heading through Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Westwood and Brentwood, before ending up at the Roosevelt Hotel, across the street from Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where the premiere takes place.
This exclusive vehicle has a two-year waiting list. And this is the first time this many R8s will be driven together in the U.S. Later tonight, the film's stars will arrive in a fleet of R8s, Q7 SUVs and A8L sedans, to walk the red carpet.
I'm also hearing that Audi is involved with the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18th.
Hey, can I get a lift to the after-party?
