Carla Bruni's big cover-up for the Queen!

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the hot former supermodel, sorry, hot new First Lady of France and wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, was almost dressed more demurely than the Queen Mum during her visit to the UK this week.

No wonder.

Following the news that a nude photo of her taken during her modeling days would be auctioned off by Christie's Auction House in a few weeks, she probably felt a need to take cover!

But it looks like Prince Philip still found Carla's sober gray, below-the-knee, belted, long-sleeved, buttoned-up coat dress -- and flats -- rockin' compared with Queen Elizabeth's wardrobe.

Check out that smile! That is the face of a happy man. And perhaps the face of a man who might have done a little curious Web searching to see that smashing nude shot of his guest, eh wot?
