Paris to star in 'The L Word'!

Paris Hilton is ready for prime-time! The heiress will appear on Showtime's hot lesbian series, "The L Word"!

"Once the strike is over, we are going to start talks, but I am definitely shooting it," she told Us Weekly at last night's premiere of "The Hottie and the Nottie."

Makes a certain amount of sense. She's certainly had enough rehearsal. Remember all those public makeout sessions with Nicole Richie? Not to mention her recent tongue tussle with Elisha Cuthbert.

Now that she's got a producer credit on "Nottie," is she up for directing?

Mmm, maybe not.

"Right now, I just like being in front of the camera," she said.
