Helen's last-minute Oscar double-hitter!

Sometimes, it's hard to make a royal decision.

According to George Blodwell, Helen Mirren's stylist, her royal majesty will wear two gowns to the Oscars on Sunday.

At 9pm Saturday night, I spoke to an exhausted but excited Blodwell on the phone. He told me that it was too tough a call and that last year's Oscar-winning actress will wear one gown to walk the red carpet and another gown to present the coveted Best Actress Oscar.

Dame Mirren asked him, "Is that proper etiquette?' and he said, "Of course! Beyonce wore three to the Grammys.'

"Yes, but she was performing," replied Helen.

"Exactly,"  George said.

You're going to have to wait until tomorrow morning to get the scoop on what designer/color/etc., she has chosen. But, according to George, it's been quite an amazing experience.

And the big question remains, will another Queen Elizabeth (Cate?) win this year.  And will Dame Helen wear those cool lucite-heeled 'stripper shoes' again?
