Does Michelle Branch shave or flush?

At last night's Global Green pre-Oscar bash, singer Michelle Branch talked about being an eco-warrior.

"Two-and-a-half years ago I had my daughter and it scared me thinking about what the world would be like when she grows up. My husband and I have a year of being vegans, which was probably, the biggest change, which I know not everyone can do.

We try to make a little difference every day. We recycle; we have a hybrid vehicle, the whole deal. I talk about it when people want to listen. I try not to offend anybody, so you have to take baby steps.

I think a lot of people have these preconceived notions. When I say I'm a vegan, they say, 'Do you shave your armpits? Do you flush the toilet?'

What are you talking about! I'm like, 'No!"
