Don't bother to set your TiVo!
Bowing to public pressure, Dr. Phil McGraw has decided not to do a Britney Spears-themed show tomorrow.
In a statement on his site, the good doctor wrote:
"As was widely reported this weekend, at the request of concerned family members, I visited Britney Spears in the hospital. The details of that visit will, of course, remain private. We had planned to tape a Dr. Phil Now show today, focusing not on the tabloid side of Britney's latest problems, but instead on the very serious issues surrounding this case.
Clearly, it is not just Britney's family struggling to find a way to protect adult children who cannot be ordered or compelled to seek help. Because the Spears situation is too intense at this time, and out of consideration to the family, I have made the decision not to move forward with the taping at this particular time. Britney and her family are in our prayers, and we ask that they be in yours."
Aww. Dr. Phil, you're in my prayers too. You little celebrity ambulance-chaser, you!

The remark about Dr. Phil's teeth was uncalled for, since most of the Hollywood and celebrity types have false whiteness and/or lumineers, or caps regarding their teeth. He was wise to cancel the show. Frankly, the whole Britney Spears saga is BORING. The parents obviously did a lousy job raising their offspring, what with a pregnant 16-year-old and the Britney Train Wreck.

I think your intentions towards the Spears family are real. Your a good man , I feel horrible that Britney is going through a hard time. I would not wish a life that I could not leave my house without people all over me. That must be horrible. It is mentally draining I am sure. In my eyes I think the problem is her ex husband I think he drove her crazy when they were married and divorced and tries to come out like a model person . It is the right thing for Kevin to take the children since Britney needs to get herself together , the children are safer with him but I think that guy is a jerk and never had good intentions towards Britney . But he wants Britneys money so he will make sure those kids are well taken care of not because he is a good father though but because he is a manipulative jerk . I hope she gets herself together and gets full custody of her kids back , walks by Kevin and becomes the old happy and together Britney that the public once knew and just smiles one day . I also think she is bipolar but I think her chemical imbalance came from the mental abuse in her life style and the abuse she has done to herself. I think that she needs to find herself again and stop abusing herself . She seems depressed but I am sure she is a wonderful person . I hope she gets herself together , gets full custody of her children , and lives a close to normal life for herself and for her children.

Dr Phil is an ***, he has turned pain into prime time, heart into hurt and is just another sensationalist ****. God save us from such people.
I believe that a perfect explanation for the tandrets vs. the clean drug tests is that once you burn so many brain cells (get high) you cannot retrieve those brain cells back, they are gone. It's sad. American should move forward with their lives...Britney is an entirely different person and all the therapy in the world can't make her smart or normal again.
