Although Lindsay Lohan was reportedly chauffeured this week by her attorney to Promises, the same luxury rehab Britney Spears checked into, the troubled star still might make it to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.

She hasn't cancelled yet and her name is still on the presenter list, according to MTV. But will she show? "We just don't know," says an MTV spokesman. When will they find out for sure? "We don't know that either."

Not that the show's sex appeal will suffer if she doesn't make it. Other hot babe presenters include Victoria Beckham, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz, Mandy Moore, Jessica Alba, and Katherine Heigl.

The latest whisper is that LA Confidential has cancelled plans for a big party in honor of Lohan, who is on the cover of their next issue.

Who turned up at the Young Hollywood Reception for Senator Hillary Clinton last night?

I don't know that I'd classify Kevin Smith, Brett Ratner, Eric Dane, Brent Bolthouse, Cassian Elwes, Brian Grazer, Holly Wiersma, Quincy Jones, Jeremy Piven, James Toback, photographer Patrick Demarchelier, and Steve Bing as necessarily "young."  Not sure I'd even put Pauly Shore in a "Young" or a "Hollywood" category. But I guess it's all relative. And Rebecca Gayheart, Chris Klein and Michelle Trachtenberg probably qualify as young. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa - definitely young by political standards -  gave Clinton a polite peck after formally introducing her to the celebrity crowd.

Everyone was asked to cough up some serious change to hang out at Ratner's Hillhaven Lodge home and meet the aspiring presidential candidate, who grabbed the mike from the mayor to address her supporters in Ratner's rustic living room. Hey, wonder if she posed in his outdoor photo booth, like all his celebrity guests do?

In case you weren't invited to support Hillary, keep reading to see what your invite would have looked like - and cost. Hey, If hubby Bill had been there, the price would have doubled. But so would the turnout. And to see some TMZ.com footage of the arrivals, click here.

To the colorist who managed to get Cameron Diaz's harsh dyed black hair back to this gorgeous, natural-looking, sun-streaked blonde: THANK YOU! With her refined nose and restored blonde locks, the "Shrek" star looks flipping amazing. It's almost like.. magic. Maybe her rumored new flame Criss Angel had something to do with this beauty sleight-of-hand trick? Judging by the next photo, the illusionist gentleman does seem to prefer blondes.

Long ago before there were armies of well-paid celebrity stylists dressing actresses for every awards show, Oscar nominees and presenters relied on Beverly Hills retailer Fred Hayman for their glamorous gowns. After decades of keeping gorgeous actresses off the Worst Dressed and on the Best Dressed lists, Hayman became the official fashion consultant for the Academy Awards in 1990, operating a unique styling service for actresses from his swanky Dayton Way boutique.

But according to Hayman's pal, Emmy-winning producer George Schlatter, he not only rescued fashion reps, he also saved Hollywood marriages, relationships and perhaps even lives over the past five decades.

"Our wives were known as the Hollywood Black Belt shoppers and they would regularly go to  his boutique and pick out what they wanted – or what Fred thought they needed," Schlatter said last night at the Beverly Hills Tribute to Fred Hayman. "When it came time for anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, we FOFs (Friends of Fred) would rush to his boutique and pick up these prearranged gifts.  Then we would have our fourth or fifth martini and rush home to restore or maintain domestic tranquility. He was Santa Claus in tassled loafers."

Looks like Lindsay Lohan is finally taking her fashion friend Karl Lagerfeld's advice. But someone should tell her that hiring a professional chauffeur is waaaaay cheaper than having your high-priced lawyer drive you to rehab. Bet that was a five grand plus drop-off charge.

Photo Credits: "She does not have the excuse of being a poor girl," Karl lamented of the plight of auto challenged celebrity Paris Hilton. But the same applies to Lindsay Lohan, who crashed her car over the weekend at 5:30 a.m.

There will probably be more fabulous gowns at the June 26 Black Entertainment Awards than at the last Oscars. And it's all Diana Ross's fault.

Monique_alber_4953728_600The legendary singer/fashion icon will recieve the Lifetime Achievement Award during the BET Awards televised at 8 p.m. (ET) on June 26.

In honor of "The Boss," host/comedienne Mo'Nique - author of "Skinny Women are Evil," plans to change clothes for each category during the show. And there are 15 categories so that's a lot of frocks. Frankly, given Mo' Nique's super-size, this stunt may cause a chiffon shortage that could impact the next Oscars.

Nominees for the BET Awards include Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Gnarls Barkley, Diddy, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Angela Bassett, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Forest Whitaker, Eddie Murphy, Kerry Washington, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, Chandra Williams, and more.

Also, 50 Cent's new album "Curtis" will be released the day of the awards and fans will be able to vote online at bet.com to decide which song he sings on the show. Right now, you can also vote for the Viewers Choice Award on the site.

Photo Credits: Miss Ross still wows the crowd with stunning gowns at her recent concert in London. But is there enough Lycra in the universe for Mo' Nique's 15 BET frocks? You'll just have to check out the show to find out.

You can almost smell the phermones, can't you? Judging by the smoldering, sensual looks on these two love birds' faces, I think we know what they'll be up to after tonight's "Ocean's Thirteen" premiere. And I'm not talking about going to some silly crowded afterparty. Somehow I see all this fancy designer formal wear (Ungaro gown and either a Tom Ford or Armani tux, still checking) ending up on the floor of their Cannes villa. Along with Angie's custom-made Chopard  radiant-cut fancy yellow diamond drop earrings (10 carats) and an emerald cut fancy yellow diamond cocktail ring (20 carats).

Photo Credits: "You look hot." "No, you look hotter." "No, you do." Enough, already, you're both hot! Angelina and Brad appreciate each other's equal heat at the "Ocean's" premiere.

Oh, no. Not ANOTHER penguin movie! Every year at this time, identical penguin-suited movie stars - such as Matt, George and Brad - make their way down the treacherous Croisette red carpet in Cannes to make sure that their blockbuster babies (in their case, "Ocean's Thirteen") will survive in the international movie market. Aren't they just adorable?  And isn't it amazing that the cameras can get this close without frightening this rare and exotic species? Later, the cute little critters will feast and party into the night before making the long flight home.
