The nominees for the 9th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards are out. Why do you care? Well, if you are and/or wanna be a costume designer, you care big time. If you love fashion, you should also care. If you love films, you gotta care. And if you're curious about who will be nominated and/or win the Oscar for costume design, these nominations are a pretty good indicator.

Helen Mirren, the beautiful; thank you for all your good work!

Shouldn't "The Queen" be in the period film category rather than contemporary as it describes a particular era?
