deadliest-catch-phil-harris-cornelia-marie-crew-large.jpgPhil Harris, captain of the Cornelia Maria and star of Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch," has died. He had recently suffered a stroke.

Harris' two sons Josh and Jake Harris, who also worked on the Cornelia Marie, said in a statement, "It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad -- Captain Phil Harris.  Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down.  We will remember and celebrate that strength.  Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers."

Discovery Channel also released the following statement Tuesday night (Feb. 9):

We miss the Joe Rogan of "Fear Factor" fame, who encouraged contestants teetering on the edge of a high drop or holding on to dear life between two moving semi-trucks, to get past possibly losing their lunch and complete the challenge.

Today's Hulked up, "Ultimate Fighting Championship" Joe Rogan thinks it's hilarious to pick on of some poor, albeit strange, kid while obviously enjoying the male-on-male attention. In the end, the antics come off like a stunt pulled off by some closeted homophobe, frat boy who got a hold of his parents' video camera.

Despite our incredibly high fear factor of the present Joe Rogan (who has obviously done lost his mind), we feel it's our duty to call him out.

Mr. Rogan, you're acting like a major d-bag.

Did "Transformers" hottie Megan Fox actually get a thumb double for her Motorola commercial aired during the Super Bowl?

Megan -- who is perfect in every other way -- has a condition known as brachydactyly, which means "shortness of the fingers and toes." Basically, it's a clubbed thumb. In more popular vernacular: It's a toe thumb. And there's nothing wrong with it. It's just a little ... unusual is all.

Watch Megan Fox's SB commercial, check out an old photo of her toe thumb below and you be the judge. These are important issues. Don't laugh.

Director Garry Marshall took time on the "Valentine's Day" red carpet to joke about doing a "Laverne and Shirley" movie starring Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel.

"We're gonna work on that," Marshall tells Extra. "My sister Penny and Cindy are gonna have a guest cameo. They're gonna walk "schlemiel, schlemazel" -- or they're gonna get tired in the middle and sit down."

Bryce Robinson, age 10, plays the grandson of Hector Elizondo and Shirley Maclaine in director Garry Marshall 's new romantic comedy, "Valentine's Day."

He revealed exclusively to The Dish Rag that old pro actress Shirley acted more like a "Grandma" than a costar. Something about chiding him to not look in the camera. Lighten up on the kid, lady. Hector, on the other hand, was loads of fun, never serious, always kidding around.

Kate Gosselin loved her free long blond hair extensions at first. Then she hated them.

Kinda like what happened with Jon Gosselin. Now she's slowly cutting them out of her life. Exactly like Jon!

Wanna know a secret? Turns out Jon Gosselin- not Kate Gosselin or their eight adorable children -- was the real star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8." Who knew?

"The show is based on female demographics," Mark Heller explains to RadarOnline.com. "You have housewives watching. They want to see what Jon Gosselin is going to do next. They don't care about Kate that much. She is not the ratings draw. He is."
