"The Fighter" leads all movies in the major categories with six nominations -- Best Supporting Actor for Christian Bale, two Best Supporting actress nominations in Melissa Leo and Amy Adams, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director for David O. Russell and Best Picture. More

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced its full list of nominees for its annual awards -- think the British Oscars. "The King's Speech" leads the way with 14 nominations, followed by "Black Swan" with 12, "Inception" with nine and "True Grit" with eight nominations, which is eight more than it received from the Golden Globes. More

"The Green Hornet" grossed approximately $34 million over the weekend, which makes it one of the highest openings ever for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, second only to "Cloverfield" in 2008 that brought in $46 million. Estimates have "Hornet" grossing roughly $40.5 through Monday. More
