Watch Michael Bay's CES panic attack during Samsung presentation
Michael Bay is not great at public speaking. This became very clear when he melted down during a presentation for Samsung at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Samsung brought Bay onstage to discuss how the company's new curved-screen televisions could revolutionize the movie-watching experience at home. Unfortunately, their teleprompter system didn't seem to be working right, and the director-producer couldn't read his lines.
Although Bay tried to "wing it" for a couple of seconds, he quickly stammered to a stop. Head down and walking quickly, Bay left the stage with only "I'm sorry" as an explanation.
Known best for his big-budget productions like the "Transformers" franchise and the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Bay is also a producer behind TV shows like the upcoming "Black Sails" on Starz and "The Last Ship" on TNT.
It's safe to say he has a career to fall back on if the product-endorsement deal doesn't work out.
