'Orange Is The New Black's' Pablo Schreiber, wife Jessica Monty separate
Pablo Schreiber is starting the new year single. The actor, who made waves in 2013 for his roles as "Pornstache" in "Orange Is The New Black" and psychopathic rapist William Lewis on "Law & Order: SVU," had his wife Jessica Monty call it quits on him just before Christmas.
TMZ reports that Jessica's legal separation cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the couple's split. They are parents to a 5-year-old son and a 22-month-old son.
Monty, a yoga instructor who wed Schreiber in 2007, is looking for full custody of the two children and spousal support. She reportedly is open to allowing visitation and sharing legal custody, but wants the judge to reject any bids Schreiber might make for spousal support from her.
In a Spring 2013 issue of Green Door Magazine, Schreiber spoke about putting his children before his work. "My energy is with my children," he said. "The main thing I can do is to be a good father and my work is secondary to that."
Based on a tweet that Schreiber posted but then deleted, it sounds like divorce will soon follow this separation. "The really f***ed up thing about divorce is that eventually you have to decide who gets to keep the neti-pot," he writes.
