'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood: I ate fentanyl patches during rehab
For her first interview since being released from prison last month, "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood is appearing on "Dr. Phil" on Friday (Dec. 19) and the troubled reality star is opening up big time.
In a preview of her sit-down with Dr. Phil, Portwood reveals just how intense her drug addiction had become. She admits to eating fentanyl patches, which are narcotic pain relievers meant to treat severe, ongoing pain that can't be controlled with many other medicines. As Portwood tells it, she was chowing down on the patches all throughout rehab and while filming her MTV show -- she even cops to eating one during a drug test.
Portwood's full interview will include a discussion of her anger issues and her decision to go to prison.
Check out the teaser above.
