Kanye West's New Year's resolution is to stop talking smack
We'll believe it when we see it, but if Kanye West keeps his New Year's resolution, the world will be spared from his arrogant and nonsensical ranting
foreeeeever for six whole months.
"Everything I'm saying that's not allowed, soak it in right now," Yeezus tells the Toronto crowd at his Dec. 23 concert. "This might be the last time y'all hear me talk s*** for a long time. Might be another like six months, at least. You're just gonna have to run back the interviews and s*** if you wanna hear some realness."
Well, praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
Of course Kim Kardashian's fiance had to get one last 20-some-odd minute tirade in before zipping his lip. In a video from the show posted to YouTube, Yeezy proceeds to rail against Nike, an unnamed clothing company for refusing to hire him as a t-shirt designer, and the Recording Academy for nominating him for only two Grammys this year.
"The Grammys -- they nominated me with two Grammys," Kanye laments. "'Yeezus,' the most highly-reviewed album of the motherf*****g year.
"You don't run s*** motherf***er," West tells the Recording Academy. "You rent the Staples Center for one night and give some godd*** awards away. F*** you. F*** you for Christmas. ... I'ma wrap this 'f*** you' real tight and I'ma deliver it to the Grammys on Christmas night."
So, if Kanye thinks the Grammys are such a joke, then maybe he and Kim won't show up to Staples on Jan. 26? A delightful thought, to be sure, but don't go holding your breath. As we all know too well, where there are cameras, there is KimYe.
Watch the video of Kanye's ridiculous, foul-mouthed and sometimes auto-tuned(!) rant below -- if you can stomach 27-plus minutes of his garbage, that is.
