Alec Baldwin's homophobic outburst: Are you still mad about it?
Plenty of pop-culture stories from 2013 were fodder for public outrage. As the year comes to a close, Zap2it takes a look back at some of the biggest uproars and asks: U Still Mad?
The world seems wrapped up in "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson's comments on homosexuality at the moment, but it wasn't very long ago that Alec Baldwin was embroiled in a scandal regarding a homophobic outburst.
The "30 Rock" star and recent MSNBC talk show host found himself in hot water in November after allegedly calling a photographer who got a little too close a "c***sucking f**." Of course, Baldwin claimed he actually called the person a "c***sucking fathead," which makes very little sense.
After the news got out, MSNBC was quick to pull Baldwin's "Up Late" from the schedule before outright canceling it in what was called a "mutual parting." Baldwin also apologized for his word choice on the show's website, but it was too little too late.
Of course this is hardly Baldwin's first time being called out on the carpet for his words or attitude. There's that whole Words with Friends airplane fiasco and even his Twitter rants. At a certain point, people are going to get fed up with him once and for all. Are you still mad at Baldwin, or do you figure he's thanking his lucky stars that Robertson spoke to GQ, thus taking the anti-gay spotlight for himself?
