'Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke eyed for 'Terminator 5,' Kit Harington joins 'Spooks' film
"Game of Thrones" Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow are getting involved in some exciting big screen projects.
First up is Emilia Clarke. Of all the young "Game of Thrones" stars, she is the only one to not pick a big blockbuster movie role -- yet. A report on Schmoes Know says that Clarke is being eyed to take the role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming "Terminator 5." Interestingly enough, Clarke's "Game of Thrones" costar Lena Headey also played Sarah Connor in the television series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
Also up for the role are Brie Larson and Margot Robbie. Meanwhile Boyd Holbrook and Garrett Hedlund are reportedly being considered to play John Connor.
As for Kit Harington, he joined the cast of "Spooks: The Greater Good" at the American Film Market. The big screen adaptation of the original TV series (known as "MI-5" in the United States) will also star Jennifer Ehle and Peter Firth. Harington will play an ex-MI-5 operative who is brought in by Ehle's deputy chief to figure out how a captured terrorist escaped their custody. Bharat Nalluri is directing, and the plan is to have the film start shooing in early 2014.
These two actors are far from the only "Game of Thrones" stars to be taking a lot of work on the big screen. Everyone from Richard Madden to Natalie Dormer has a bunch of exciting movies on the horizon, and you can find out what they're starring in here.
