'Deadliest Catch' holiday gift guide: Everything but the drawn butter
Each fall and winter, the Alaskan crab-fishing fleet heads out to seek crustacean gold beneath the dangerous waters of the Bering Sea -- and Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch" is there to document every moment.
But the next season is not due out until next spring, so there are a lot of "Deadliest" fans out there itching for a taste of their favorite show, and luckily, the gift-giving season is here.
Clothing, DVDs, mugs, etc: Discovery's online store offers up a wide array of merchandise, from coasters (on sale for $2.00), mugs (most under $20, tees (most between $20 and $30, iPhone cases ($14.95), hoodies (most under $50) and DVD box sets (on sale, most around $25).

For the F/V Northwestern, click here for gear store, here for mugs, tumblers, glasses, bottles, a shot glass and a sippy cup (between $15 and $30); here for framed prints; and here for iPhone and iPad cases. Also, click here for hats, tees and more at Zazzle's Northwestern shop.
The F/V Wizard doesn't have quite the range of merchandise, but here are mugs, tees, sweatshirts, hats and a decal, ranging from $5.50 to $55.00.
And here are some random goodies, starting with gifts under $50:
"Captain Phil Harris, the Legendary Crab Fisherman, Our Hero, Our Dad" ($19-$11): Josh and Jake Harris, sons of the late skipper of the F/V Cornelia Marie, who passed away in early 2010. Elder son Josh now owns the boat, which is fishing as usual, even though he did not strike a deal to appear in the new season of "Deadliest Catch."
Northwestern Grind: Under the slogan, "Caffeinate Like a Captain," Capt. Sig Hansen's signature blend comes in one-pound bags ($19.99) and as part of a "Captain's Cup Survival Kit" (29.99), featuring two bags of coffee and an insulated mug. There are also hats and a woman's short-sleeved tee.
Marie, Move quick, there appears to be only one each.
No Pot Left Behind Keychain: Only $8.75, but move fast. As of this moment, there are only 19 in stock.
"Catch!: Dangerous Tales and Manly Recipes From the Bering Sea": Written by crab-
boat deckhand Travis Lofland (his Twitter bio says he's currently on the Cornelia Marie) and his brother, Chef Jason Lofland, Recipes range from appetizers and soups to manwiches, salads, entrees and desserts.
Gift at $50 or over:
Cars 2 Crabby Die Cast Boat: ($49.95): The Disney/Pixar film featured a cartoon image of the
F/V Northwestern, named "Crabby" and voiced by Sig Hansen. You can have the die-cast figurine, set on ocean waves. As of this moment, only three left in stock.
Bering Sea Crab Fisherman's Tour: Now booking for 2014, the three-and-a-half-hour excursion heads out onto the calm waters of Ketchikan, Alaska, aboard the Alueutian Ballad, a crab boat featured in the first season of "Deadliest Catch." According to the Website, it's the only genuine Bering Sea crab-fishing vessel licensed to carry leisure passengers (and it's been remodeled for comfort). Adults (13 and up) are $159; children (five to 12), are $99.
Island Seafoods: Lastly, what could be better than putting fresh Alaskan crab on a "Deadliest" fan's plate? This site, which ships from Kodiak, Alaska, offers Bristol Bay red king crab, Kodiak golden king crab, Kodiak Island snow crab, Bering Sea snow crab and dungeness crab.
