Pamela Anderson on nude beach pics, 'friends with benefits' with ex-husband Rick Salomon and more
Actress Pamela Anderson is stopping by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday (Oct. 17), where she talks to host Ellen DeGeneres about some recent topless beach photos, her complicated relationship with her ex-husband Rick Salomon and also that she's running the New York Marathon for charity on Nov. 3.
Pamela on the photos of her at the nude beach with Rick Salomon:
Ellen: "Was it a nude beach that you were at?"
Pamela: "If I knew there were photographers there I would of taken the bottoms off too."
Ellen: "Is that right? ... Obviously you were trying to cover up? At what point did you see... and where were you?"
Pamela: "Biarritz ... in France."
Ellen: "Nice, very nice. They're all naked in France?"
Pamela: "Yeah, nobody cares."
Ellen: "And you were there with your ex-husband [Rick Salomon]? Right, are you back with him?"
Pamela: "I say we're best friends."
Ellen: "Best friends with benefits."
Pamela: "With benefits."
Ellen: "That's good that you're friends with your ex husband."
Pamela: "Yeah, I don't want to meet anyone else. ... I'm very happy. We're happy. He's a great guy."
Pamela on the NYC marathon:
Pamela: "I've been training for 6 months."
Ellen: "And like what kind of training. First of all, did you work out before hand?"
Pamela: "No, I've never even run across the street ... No, I started running and I hated it of course everyone hates running for the first mile. If you're running two miles or twenty miles it always hurts. Now I love it. I look forward to it. It's really good. It clears my head."
Ellen: "Yeah, no it's great. I have bad knees. I used to run all the time ... What's the furthest you've run?"
Pamela: "12 miles."
Ellen: "And when is the marathon?"
Pamela: "Two weeks, three weeks? It's going to be so much fun and so much excitement that I'm going to get there ... I always think if my son was hurt I could run 26 miles to him."
Ellen: "You think that but no."
Pamela: "And, so I'm doing it for Haiti. So I'm doing it for a good cause."
Ellen: "You're doing it for a good cause. You're doing it for Haiti and I think that's a beautiful thing but you're not going to make it."
Pamela: "I can walk. I'm doing it for charity. I'm not going to finish top ten guaranteed...I'm doing it for Haiti, I can walk, I can run, I can crawl... you know jump on someone's back. My brother is going to run with me and he talks a lot so I'll be running away from him."
