'The Fox' video: What does the fox say? Norway answers
The "Harlem Shake" is done. "Gangnam Style" has gone back to Korea. This is the time of "The Fox."
Yes, "The Fox." If you haven't seen the video for this strange little Norwegian song, you might want to stop reading now. Instead, click play on the video and prepare to blow your mind.
Believe it or not, there's actually a legitimate reason for this song and video to exist. Two Norwegian comedians and television hosts, Bard Ylvisaker and Vegard Ylvisaker -- who record under the name "Ylvis" -- created "The Fox" as a promotional video for the upcoming season of their talk show, "I Kveld med YLVIS."
Do the nature calls of animals have anything to do with the show itself? Or is this just the work of twisted minds addled by two many cold winters in the frozen northlands of Europe? Should this whole thing be rejected because the singers seem to think the elephant says toot?
Much like the central question in the song -- "What does the fox say?" -- there may not be any answers. There is just one crazy and super-entertaining video. Enjoy.
