Amanda Bynes' Twitter hacked while she's under psychiatric hold
It turns out Amanda Bynes isn't tweeting from her room at the UCLA Medical Center. Thought a tweet appeared on Amanda's account Saturday (August 31), one day after her psychiatric hold was extended, Amanda's lawyer says the message was sent by a hacker.
"Amanda's Twitter account was hacked," her lawyer Tamar Arminak says in a statement to the New York Daily News. "She is at the UCLA Medical Center with no access to phones or computers." Amanda has been away from Twitter since late July, when she was taken into placed on an involuntary hold after starting a fire on the driveway of a California home.
Bynes' psychiatric hold was extended Friday, which could keep her in the hospital for a year. However, it's reported that the plan to hold her another 60 days to stabilize her, before moving Amanda to her mother's house.
