Leah Remini's missing persons report about Shelly Miscavige 'unfounded', says cops
Hours after it was revealed that actress Leah Remini had filed a missing persons report for Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige, the Los Angeles Police Department has closed the case, TMZ reports.
A police spokesman says the missing persons report was ruled as "unfounded," after officers met with Shelly, face-to-face. It was reported that Remini, a former Scientologist, was subjected to "thought modification" when she asked David about Shelly, who had reportedly not been seen in public for six years.
