Joseph Kosinski in talks to direct 'The Twilight Zone'
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news about Kosinski's potential involvement. The project is being reworked for Kosinski, who last directed the Tom Cruise film "Oblivion." Leonardo DiCaprio's production company Appian Way is producing.
Plot details are being kept a secret for the time being, but this isn't the first time the television series has been brought to the big screen. John Lithgow, Joe Dante, Steven Spielberg and George Miller directed "The Twilight Zone: The Movie," which came out in 1983. It's unclear if this new version will be an anthology like that was.
Meanwhile, Bryan Singer is developing a new TV version of "The Twilight Zone" as well. He spoke with IGN about the planned project in March, saying at the time he was talking to a writer and that "that's coming together right now, actually."
