Jennifer Lawrence's lost movie 'The Devil You Know' releasing after 7 years
It happens more often than some think. A little-known actor appears in a small independent movie that never sees the light of day. Of course, some of those little-known actors could become the next big thing in Hollywood.
That's the case for Jennifer Lawrence. The Oscar winner is as close as can be to a Hollywood "it girl" in 2013, and everyone wants to be associated with her. That's where "The Devil You Know" comes in.
The film, shot in 2007, stars a 15-year-old Lawrence. However, at the time no one wanted to distribute it. So it sat on the shelf until 2013, when Lawrence launched into the stratosphere. Her part in the movie is small, but that won't stop it from getting a video on demand release on July 9, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Of course, Lawrence has a couple other movies lined up as well. Between "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "American Hustle" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past," she's got a pretty full dance card.
You can see a clip of "The Devil You Know" below, but good luck figuring out the plot.
