Chris Brown proclaims hit-and-run innocence after being charged
He continues, "My profile pic [below] is the pic I took of the persons car after "the hit and run". NO damage. Just a dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name ... I work my a** off to provide for my entire family. I've made mistakes in the past and have worked hard to be a better person. ... 19-24 years of age. I don't have all the answers and you can't show me a person that age who has it figured out.We live and grow.Let me live."
According to the initial arrest report, Brown was charged with driving without a license and leaving a scene of an accident without exchanging proper information. The claim says that Brown refused to give the woman whose car he hit his license number and then proceeded to provide fake insurance information as well. If a judge finds him guilty, he could face six months in jail for each charge. He's also looking at a maximum of four years in prison if a judge deems he broke the law and thus his probation.
