'Star Trek Into Darkness' clip released: Will Kirk let Spock die?
With the summer movie season right around the corner, we're getting closer and closer to the release of "Star Trek Into Darkness." Today brings the arrival of the first full clip from JJ Abrams' much-anticipated sequel.
Running just over a minute, the clip involves the entire key crew of the Enterprise rushing to save Spock (Zachary Quinto) from an interstellar volcano. The life or death call is up to Kirk (Chris Pine), who has to decide whether saving his friend is worth placing the entire ship in jeopardy.
Also, check out those skintight uniforms on Kirk, Bones (Karl Urban), Sulu (John Cho) and Uhura (Zoe Saldana). We're assuming that's directly related to a mission and not new regulation Starfleet attire.
"Star Trek Into Darkness" hits IMAX theaters on May 15 and opens nationwide May 17. Check out the final trailer here.
