Sofia Vergara panicked for son's safety after Boston Marathon bombings
When actress Sofia Vergara learned about the bombings that took place at the Boston Marathon Monday (April 15), like everyone else she didn't understand how it could happen. However, Vergara also immediately thought of her son, Manolo Gonzalez.
In an interview with "Good Morning America," the "Modern Family" star says she "immediately went crazy," fearing for her son who attends school in Boston. Luckily, she quickly received a text message from Manolo, letting her know he was in New York visiting his girlfriend.
Vergara also talked about the possibility of having more children. "My boyfriend Nicky [Loeb] is three years younger than me and he's never had a son," she says, "I have my son, Manolo. So it's not an emergency for me to have another kid, but for Nicky, he's never had a baby." Vergara, 40 years old, reveals that she had her eggs frozen to possibly have a baby with Loeb down the road. "They're in the refrigerators. Hopefully, they'll be fresh by the time I use them," she says.
