Matthew McConaughey to star in Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar'
When "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan's next movie was announced at the beginning of March, not a lot of details were given. They said it would be out in November 2014, and that it is a sci-fi project, reportedly involving time travel and interstellar voyage.
However, now the cast is starting to come together, with the first confirmed cast member. Matthew McConaughey says he will have a starring role in the film, written by Nolan's brother Jonathan Nolan. In an interview with the Star Tribune, McConaughey was asked about the possibility of him being in the movie. All the actor would offer was a simple, "I'm confirming."
As with most Nolan movies, the details surrounding the movie are being kept a secret. Steven Spielberg was previously attached to the project in 2006. "Interstellar" will be Nolan's first non-Batman work since 2010's "Inception."
