'Man of Steel': New trailer reveals how Superman gets his name
Warner Bros. has released the newest full trailer for "Man of Steel." The three-minute trailer contains the first footage of Russell Crowe as Jor-El, father of Kal-El/Clark Kent (Henry Cavill). It also shows the war on Krypton as Superman's parents send him to Earth.
Lots of new content in contained in the clip, including a look at General Zod (Michael Shannon) in his Kryptonian armor, as he does battle with Superman. You also get the first verbal interaction between Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Superman, as she asks him about the "S" on his chest, which he assures her isn't an "S" at all. It's then revealed how he is given the "Superman" name.
The trailer is also jam-packed with Superman saving the day, both in and out of costume, along with a look at the Fortress of Solitude. "Man of Steel" also stars Diane Lane, Kevin Costner and Laurence Fishburne. It arrives in theaters June 14.
