Lollapalooza 2013: The Cure, Mumford & Sons and The Killers to headline
The lineup for the annual Lollapalooza festival was released Monday. With 125 bands set to play over three days, the headlining bands stretch across many genres of music.
The first day of the festival will be headlined by performances from rock band The Killers, and the latest incarnation of industrial rock outfit Nine Inch Nails, which has been on hiatus since 2009. As always, the band will be fronted by Trent Reznor. Other bands that day include Queens of the Stone Age and Imagine Dragons.
Day two features Mumford & Sons and a reunited The Postal Service, along with acts including The Lumineers and rapper Kendrick Lamar. The Cure highlights the closing day of Lollapalooza, which will also see performances from Vampire Weekend, Tegan and Sara, Cat Power, and 2 Chainz.
Lollapalooza 2013 will take place August 2-4 at Grant Park in Chicago, Il. While three-day passes for the event are sold out, one-day tickets go on sale Wednesday (April 3). For the full lineup, check out the official Lollapalooza website.
