Kate Middleton topless photos: Charges filed against publisher and photographer
After topless photos of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, were printed in magazines last September, the companies that published them faced public scrutiny and legal threats. Now, months later, charges have reportedly been filed.
According the AFP News Agency, charges have been filed in France against Ernesto Mauri, the CEO of the company that publishes Closer Magazine, as well as an unnamed photographer from the daily paper La Provence, for "invasion of privacy." Closer was the first magazine to print the photos, featuring Kate and Prince William on vacation at a private chateau in France.
These days Kate Middleton is being photographed pretty regularly with a baby bump, as she attends events. She most recently attended a scouting celebration at Windsor Castle. Kate and William's first child is due in July.
