Zach Braff, Gwyneth Paltrow and Craig Ferguson all starred on 'High,' an unaired pilot from two decades ago
In a weird bit of TV awesomeness, it turns out Zach Braff's first acting gig was a pilot that never got picked up. Which isn't terribly unusual. But it co-starred "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson ... and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Wait, what?
Turns out 25 years ago, they all made a pilot for CBS. It appears from the clip that the show was called "High" (ummm) and Braff recalls that Ferguson could have done his part a little better. Ferguson wonders why Braff wasn't scared of a "fat guy smelling of beer," saying this was four years before he went to rehab.
That's amazing. We wish all networks could unearth their unaired pilots from 20+ years ago.
