As the shoot for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," the sequel to 2011's "X-Men: First Class," gets closer, the film's director, Bryan Singer, is having a field day revealing casting news on his Twitter account. Most of the notable casting news, thus far, has revolved around actors returning to the X-Men universe, reprising the roles they took on in the original "X-Men" trilogy.

Returning from the first three movies are Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, and Ellen Page. Joining them, is "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage. Now, Singer has added Omar Sy, a French actor who starred in the critically-acclaimed "The Intouchables." While his character hasn't been revealed, it will be Sy's American film debut.

The announced actors will be joining the stars of "First Class," including Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult. "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is scheduled to be released in July 2014.
