'Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder hits SXSW: 10 pics, just because

Somerhalder hit Austin, TX for a whirlwind series of appearances this weekend. He visited the Warner Bros. Tell-A-Vision experience, answering questions on video from fans who wrote to him on Twitter using the #TweetMeIan hashtag. There, he posed in front of a whole lot of photos of himself -- including one designed for 3-D glasses and one bearing the tagline, "Can you get VD from a tweet?"

He also snuggled up to the famed Grumpy Cat, of internet meme fame, on the Mashable red carpet. Later, he presented with RYOT co-founder Bryn Mooser and Sophia Bush on a panel about the news site.

He made sure to stop by the "Drinking Buddies" afterparty, and then he was off! The jet-setting vamp will appear on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" on Monday night.
