Rapper Too Short arrested for DUI and felony drug possession

Rapper Todd Anthony Shaw, better known as "Too Short," was arrested in Hollywood for driving under the influence and drug possession. According to Los Angeles police, Too Short tried to run from officers before his arrest. He was booked for a DUI and felony narcotics possession, reports claim.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the arrest took place on Hollywood Boulevard around 3 a.m. He was pulled over for a traffic violation and appeared to be under the influence, TMZ says. It was when police tried to administer a breathalyzer test that Too Short reportedly took off running.

This isn't the first time Too Short has had trouble with the law. In 2009, the rapper was arrested twice in Las Vegas for DUIs and other charges. After an Idaho performance in 2010, Too Short was arrested on misdemeanor battery charges.
