Jerry Buss leaves young girlfriend Hawaiian condo and Bentley in will
The late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jerry Buss, died in February after being hospitalized for a form of cancer. Now, the 80-year-old's will is revealing just where his fortune will be going.
According to the document, which TMZ obtained a copy of, most of his estate goes to a family trust, which is headed up by his daughter Jeanie Buss. However, Buss's young girlfriend didn't make out too bad either. Delia Cortez, in her late 20s, will receive Buss's Hawaiian condo, as well as a 2009 Bentley.
The gifts were added into the will in March 2012. Buss purchased the Lakers in 1979 for $67.5 million, in a deal that also included the Los Angeles Kings hockey team and The Forum, a Southern California arena. It was recently announced that the Lakers themselves have an estimated worth of $1 billion.
