Jennifer Lawrence bullied in school? Oscar winner explains how she got revenge
Can you possibly believe Jennifer Lawrence was a victim of bullying in school? She's pretty much the most likable person on the planet. Who could actually be mean to her? The Oscar winning actress says it's true, though. In an interview with The Sun, she details some of the bullying, and talks about how she got a little bit of revenge.
"I changed schools a lot when I was in elementary school," she says, "Because some girls were mean." As she reached middle school, the bullying eased off a little, but was still there. "This one girl gave me invitations to hand out to her birthday party that I wasn't invited to," Jen says. While that's a pretty terrible thing to do to someone, J-Law got her payback, explaining, "But that was fine, I just hocked a loogie on them and threw them in the trash can."
As for any advice she can offer to anyone else dealing with bullies in their life? "Don't worry about the b****es," she says, "That could be a good motto, because you come across people like that throughout your life."
While public adoration continues to grow for Jen, it will always pale in comparison to the love she gets from her biggest fan, and good friend, Andy Strunk.
