Henry Kissinger hospitalized in New York following fall at home

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was hospitalized Tuesday (March 5) in New York after taking a spill at home. The Associated Press reports Kissinger was admitted to New York Presbyterian Hospital for observation.
The 89-year-old Nobel peace prize winner is expected to be discharged later in the day.
Kissinger served as Secretary of State under two presidents -- Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. He still influences world leaders, as the founder of an international consulting firm.
In addition to his Nobel Prize, the former diplomat and political scientist received the Presidential Medal of Freedom award form president Ford. A lesser known fact: Kissinger was the first honorary member of the Harlem Globetrotters.
