Taylor Swift sued by pissed off ticket company over canceled concert

Taylor Swift has earned the ire of a ticket company after a concert got canceled and it had to foot the bill for paying back customers. Swift was paid $2.5 million up front for Ottawa, Canada's Capital Hoedown, but that show never happened, and the ticket company feels Swift should have to pay back some of the money she earned.

After Capital Hoedown was canceled, the ticket company had to refund $1.8 million in tickets. The lawsuit filed against Swift says that she should have to pay because she got well more than that amount of money for doing absolutely nothing at the concert.

Here's the thing: Swift's rep has told TMZ that she never made a deal with the ticket company. If that's the case, she really shouldn't have to fork over any cash unless she feels the need out of the goodness of her heart. After all, Swift could probably take a bath in $2.5 million and still have money to burn.

It remains to be seen what the judge and jury decide when if this case makes it into New York's federal court. Swift has reportedly not yet seen the lawsuit.
