Rihanna launches River Island fashion line before bloody knee incident

Rihanna might have left London with a bloody knee, but she went there to launch her new fashion line. The Grammy-winning pop star has created the Rihanna for River Island collection, and she debuted it during London Fashion Week.

According to Reuters, the clothing line included items like "midriff-bearing mesh tops," "yellow shift dresses," "denim tops teamed with slouchy jeans" and "monochrome dresses with thigh-high slits." Yes, that does sound like the Rihanna fashion style we've come to know and love.

Rihanna reportedly has a £800,000 ($1,240,000) contract with River Island, though The Guardian says that was put in jeopardy after she tweeted a picture of a marijuana plant on Valentine's Day and wrote, "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy." The Rihanna for River Island collection has 120 pieces and will hit stores in March.

As for that bloody knee, Rihanna was reportedly heckled while leaving a club after the Fashion Week debut. A man threw a bottle at her, which caused her to stumble and cut her leg on a metal drain. The cause of the fan's attack? Rihanna's reported relationship with Chris Brown.
