Rapper Jim Jones arrested in New Jersey on two outstanding warrants

Jim Jones certainly isn't having a very great Valentine's Day. The rapper was arrested Wednesday, after confronted by police over two outstanding warrants. Jones was initially trying to move his car, which was about to be towed after being issued a parking citation on February 6, when police ran his name and found two minor warrants, NorthJersey.com reports.

One warrant was for not removing snow from his sidewalk, a $43 fine from 2011, the other was a $150 warrant for not yielding to an emergency vehicle in 2010. When police tried to arrest Jones, he became belligerent and uncooperative. He provided the police with false information, and tried to walk away.

Jones was taken into custody, and released after posting bail on the warrants. He was given another citation for his vehicle, and charged with obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. He'll have to make an appearance in front of a judge on February 27. Next time, he should probably just move his car earlier.

Jones is best known as a member of hip-hop collective The Diplomats, which also includes rapper Cam'ron.
