Perez Hilton welcomes baby: Gossip blogger's son makes his internet debut

Internet personality Perez Hilton has announced the birth of his first son. "I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!" he writes on his site. "I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his."

34-year-old Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, chose not to elaborate as to whether he welcomed his son via adoption, surrogate, or other means. Interestingly enough -- considering Hilton's penchant for revealing celebrities' secrets for fun -- he also did not divulge the baby's name or birthdate.

In addition to blogging about celebrity gossip, Hilton is a radio and television personality and an author. He also launched a record label and has been a recording artist himself -- he performed a song about Gonorrhea, called "The Clap," and made a music video as a tie-in for the film "Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild."
