Morgan Spurlock's One Direction movie, '1D3D,' gets a trailer: Watch it here

They're just boys being boys -- but they're not just any boys, of course. Fans should look forward to seeing a whole new side of One Direction members Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik in the upcoming Morgan Spurlock 3D concert film, "1D3D."

The first trailer for the flick has debuted, and it gives fans a good sense of what they can expect from Spurlock's first concert documentary. The trailer is equal parts making music, explaining the band members' backstories and watching the 1D boys goofing off, which is pretty much exactly what we'd hope for in "1D3D." The baby pictures and promises of tears in the teaser only sweeten the deal.

"I don't know if you could have more of a dramatic life change. It's huge, man. Just like, look where we are," Styles says in the trailer. Malik adds, "As a group, we're stronger than those five people by themselves."

"1D3D" is due out in theaters on Aug. 30.
