The couple everyone was rooting for, Michelle Williams and Jason Segel, have called it quits after a year of dating. According to People, the pair split quietly earlier this month amidst her press tour for her latest film "Oz the Great and Powerful."

Rumor has it, distance was the cause for the break-up. Williams and her daughter, Matilda Ledger, call Brooklyn home. Segel, on the other hand, films "How I Met Your Mother" in Los Angeles. The show will continue through spring 2014, as it has just been renewed for a 9th and final season.
