Michelle Obama calls her bangs her 'midlife crisis'

Michelle Obama has revealed the real reason she added bangs to her hairstyle: She was going through a midlife crisis. The 49-year-old First Lady admits in a new interview that the new look was her way of going a little crazy.

"I couldn't get a sports car. They won't let me bungee-jump. So instead, I cut my bangs," she tells Rachael Ray on "The Rachael Ray Show." "I can do this. This is all mine."

Karl Lagerfeld might not be a fan of the FLOTUS' new look, but at least her husband is. President Barack Obama used the recent inauguration eve gala to compliment his wife's hair. "To address the most significant event of the weekend, I love her bangs," he said, via USA Today. "She looks good. She always looks good."
