Lil Wayne sued for alleged skateboard assault by entourage member

Lil Wayne has come under fire from a fan who claims that members of the rapper's entourage grabbed a skateboard and hit him over the head with it back in May 2012, reports TMZ.

Alfredo Marino says in the lawsuit that he spotted Lil Wayne and his group on a Los Angeles-area street and was trying to take a picture when a man who works for Lil Wayne grabbed as skateboard and clubbed him in the back of the head with it.

Marino claims he suffered a severe head injury from the assault and believes that Wayne and Wayne's record label are responsible for enabling the attacker. He is suing for unspecified damages.
