The biggest question of the 85th Academy Awards wasn't "Who will win Best Picture (or Director)?" but rather, "Why is Kristen Stewart on crutches?"

While we don't have the full story, the cause seems to be pretty simple: Stupidity. Or, as she told MTV News as she breezed by on the Oscars red carpet, "I'm an idiot." That's self-explanatory enough to us.

Whatever the cause, Stewart had plenty of help throughout the night from her peers in the young adult film world. "The Hunger Games" leading lady Jennifer Lawrence assisted her on the red carpet, while "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe helped her limp on stage to present Best Production Design to "Lincoln." Now that's friendship.
